My Sim Cockpit [2dof 24v]

    12/03/2016: Hello to all guys, I present my current cockpit, had initially idea to build me a 4dof, 3dof heave + traction loss, then I decided to do things step by step, and to start with a simple 2dof, begin by showing you My cockpit as it is:

    Case created entirely by me, with only sections and aluminum panels

    CPU: Intel i5 4690k
    VGA: 2x Sapphire 390 r9
    RAM: HyperX Fury 2x8gb
    HDD: WD 1TB + SSD 240GB
    ALI: Thermaltake 730W
    MB: MSI Z97 Gaming 5

    Another thing that I have tried has been printing in 3D, and I just realized this button plate and magnetic paddle shift, really a great feeling.

    Sistem of bass shaker composed of 4 Reckhorn bs-200 powered by a e400 amp, 2 under pedals and 2 under seat, and another 2 basspump III with a konig 2400 under steering wheel and seat.

    I added the rubber to isolate each element that has transducers (pedals, seat, steering wheel) to increase even more the feelings that come to the driver, as I isolated the station off the ground, creating many levels:
    Silent Block
    Block in MDF
    Vibration mat

    The vibrations on the ground so they decreased by 80%, a remarkable achievement, and I can unleash my thomann E-400 and the konig 2400 without disturbing neighbors. ;)

    "Hydraulic" pedals a grind that has stretched for more than two months, it will not be beautiful it easy to adjust but I reached a top result with virtually feeling range of brake and clutch worthy of the most expensive in business.

    All pedals are equipped with air shocks, and the brake has a Mavin load cell

    Now I ordered all the pieces to build me a 2 dof classic for the seat only, the motors 24v are the first to have arrived. See you soon. ;)

    but his are both right, from China it took them about 10 days unfortunately I paid customs duties, and so I came a little more as the price, if you no have problems of space and you can use both right motors, buy them on Simukit. :)

    Which controllers/drivers are you going to use for the motors?
    I'm also in the planning of my 2dof project and thinking about 12V vs. 24V.

    Ciao Blame73, tutto l'alluminio lo compro sempre da motedis.com, provengono dalla Germania ma le spedizioni costano comunque 13€, inoltre hanno davvero di tutto, dai profilati alle lastre in alluminio, viti, condili, molle, cuscinetti e quant'altro basta solo cercare, tutto ciò che vedi della struttura della mia postazione proviene da quel sito. :thumbs

    Hello Blame73, all aluminum I buy always motedis.com, come from Germany but shipments still cost € 13 also have really everything from profiles to aluminum plates, screws, condyles, springs, bearings and other, all you see of my cockpit structure comes from that site. :thumbs

    I think around 450/500 euros, bearings, load cell and air shocks are the most expensive parts. :S
