Have anyone tried this motor for a simple 2DOF and traction loss? if so, which controller?

    thanks

Yes ask away @helisfreak I currently have 9 of these motors at my house. The seller (liquidator guys) will let them go for 45.00 each( make an offer). I run them on a half bridge (1 monster) each motor. My rig is balanced and never even pops the 10amp auto reset fuse. I am going to begin a 6dof experiment with them in the coming months. I believe jrk's will run these also in a well balanced rig. I use a 105mm ctc lever and get about 450mm/sec.

Great, thanks for the info. I order 10x MM controller from China on ebay... then I ran across SilenceChill thread and he had so many defect... :( So I am not sure how mine are going to turn out. This is why I mostly want to use brushless motor and rc brushless esc, they are very reliable and fairly cheap for a 30-40amps rating. Also you can run up to 26volts to drop the amperage down and make it more efficient.

As far as I know monsters are a 12volt only driver.

I meant if I switch the motor to my brushless motor and speed controller, I will surely run higher voltage, not just 12volts.

These are not brushless motors though. I removed the dust cap to show brushes.

    Do you have any
Got any spare MM you can sell to me so I can play around while waiting the my shipment from China? :) I got 1 of the motor today, very nice, SUPER big. I am surprised not very many people go with these motor, also ran it and it's super quite... smooth... Unreal for the price. :) This seem big enough to do a 6DOF to me... can't wait to see your getting start on the 6DOF.

Yes, this is a very sweet motor. And they are very quiet. I can't compare them to the worm drive other guys are using as I've not used any. I'm still a newbie.
