MRTV has just returned from a trip to the XTAL VR company and was blown away with a consumer based VR product demo. Exciting times for VR :). See his channel for more information, although it sounds like he is wrapped up in another NDA....

Yes, exciting times; or is it? :think Now that I've decided technology has evolved enough to spend money on VR it very much reminds me of when I first purchased a boat. If you've ever owned a boat you probably know the word boat is actually an acronym meaning, "Bring Out Another Thousand". Along those lines I'm getting the feeling that HMD doesn't really mean head mounted display but instead an acronym for "Handover More Dough" (or dollars if you're not a gangsta). :D

No worse then keeping a gaming computer up to date...Eg. $2000 AUD + for a 2080TI video card. I would hate to add up what I have spent on computer equipment (+ my performance cars) over my life .
