would it make a better arduino interface?

It has been discoused that arduino interfaces are not as "good" as jrk12v12, that arduino lack of "smothines" when moving the motors, and somebody told me that it is related among other things to the speed of arduino... i wonder if his board would make arduino interfaces smother?

it says the board is super fast compared to an arduino with 8 bits

    what do you think?

    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, DC motor, Arduino, 6DOF

The Arduino is plenty fast enough

Its analogue output has a resolution of 255 steps

So there are 255 positions the actuator can be in

For a simulator this is probably enough resolution, it is not like we are building a cnc machine !

The std arduino has 8 bit resolution 255 steps

There are versions of arduino that have more resolution

The due has a resolution of 4095

The zero has a resolution of 1023

Use the map function to adjust to the new resolution

Arduino one is enough to use in 2DOF, as the partner says there are arduinos with more resolution than the arduino one, the more resolutions the greater number of steps will have

Please read the documentation on this page...https://store.arduino.cc/usa/arduino-uno-rev3 Eg. 'The Uno has 6 analog inputs, labeled A0 through A5, each of which provide 10 bits of resolution (i.e. 1024 different values).'

What the partner refers to is the PWM output, which handles values of 0-255
