Would it be possible to combine 2 wiper motors for 1 axis in order to double the torque?

What about 24v wipermotors? Maybe they are stronger?

Cannot see why not. As long as the they have one control loop an do not work agains each other.

Just thought they could work against each others in worst case, if one would rotate a little faster than the other, while receiving the same current.

But if Jim has done it already, it seem to work ;D

You can put it this way: a motor do not receive current, it draws current. The amount of current is (simplyfied) proportional to voltage and load. So if one motor is spinning faster the other motor is less loaded and draws less current to keep up. If it is still beeing helped from the other motor after it draws zero current it will start generating current instead!
