Question Wich is best desain for 3dof motion 4 actuactor??

    Good day all,
    Some question i have, wich is the besc of two desain fpr motion 3dof, because my actuactor too much heavy and i put actuactor body and servo on the floor ( not upside down like srt100).
    Sorry for bad image i dont know how to used 3d modeling, just litle draw on corel draw. TY.
    Note ( image with red line, imagin red line is strong steel as a joiner/bridge that connect rod end catuactor to the rig, i confiuse on the rig need rod end also?? If yes so will make rig shake without actuactor move??)

    If i put rig ditect to rod end actuactor, the maximum heaigh of rig is 50-55cm from flor, actuactor height around 40cm, stroke 15cm.

    Or like d mover desain?? But i dont know simtools support or no??

    I assume that you have a heim joint on the rod end. I have been considering this design along with an SFX style approach.

    For a heim joint at the top I would use a rod long enough to go the length of your extrusions plus a few cm. Then attach the heim joint to the rod. Just my opinion as it seems simple and long threaded rods can be really cheap. They don’t need to be precision just construction quality. In the US I can buy a 3 meter 1/2 inch rod for $15 at my local builder supply store. These will bend so the need to be supported by an extrusion.

    For me having the seat low is a big plus. That’s really a main appeal of the SFX design. All depends on you situation. Maybe with a timing belt I can still keep the seat low enough.
