What should i used sensor? steering wheel project.

    Hello everyone! it's my first post maybe i opened wrong category! What ever, i have a steering wheel project. not ffb maybe next time. i got the pedals and shifter but i have a some problem on a steering wheel.i used 2 multi-turn pot and 2 rotary encoder (i found incheapest chinese car radio) and i broked all. im not a too much money. just for sensor i can only spend 5 bucks. what should i used? I have a few options. i have a 2 working optical mouse and some parts(ftc s276 sensor, q5888-80154 named printer part, q3434 a named printer part).


    can i used this parts??

    Hello, independenltly of the sensor, it is important to use smooth shaft (ex: piece of flexible tube) to avoid constraints on the sensor (to attain long product life cycles)
