    Hey

I tought i could be fun to se what models of motors we are using for our projects.

If you have a viper motor write:
    Car model,
    year if possible
    where you getted it from?
    Why did you choose them?

If you have an electrical motor write:
    Model
    data
    where you getted it from?
    Why did you choose them?

Could be fun to have some statics on this and maby help others to make the right decission :D

Hi there, I use windscreen wiper motors.
No particular car model, usually a medium to large sedan or van, 12 volts, and not usually matching. But usually the same speed.
Year models are usually unknown as they are odd ones, possibly from a car 10-20 years old.
Bought second hand from a car wrecking yard, as cheap as possible.
Why did I choose them? They are cheap and they work. I cannot afford actuators.
    Cheers, David.

I use wiper motors from a Vauxhall frontera, though any 4x4 would do...

I chose them as they are easy to mount, easy to find (usually for about €15 on ebay), and designed to clear mud from a big screen - so they are slightly more robust than normal car wiper motors
