    It uses electrical actuators - does anyone know the type ?

    Are they ball screw ? Are they magnetic coils ?

    Could we build something like it ?

    There is nothing special about this simulator that I would want to copy (many members on this site now own actuator driven 6DOFs) ? I actually think it is now a bit obsolete ;). Heavy - with allot of inertia = not reactive , No VR, No G -systems :rolleyes:.

    your rig came to mind when i saw this

    i see you bought your ball screw threads from china - were they made to order or designed for a different purpose ?

    the ones in the video above seem to have quite a bit of noise - is yours the same ?
