    Hey all!

For those of you that use VR in your rigs, I'm curious to see what software/hardware setups you have that make it easier to jump in and out of VR. My rig sits near my PC, but my monitors don't face the rig, so for games with poor VR support like AC, I find myself needing to start the game using my monitors, and then walk over to the rig, and use a separate keyboard and mouse to recenter my view and adjust car setup. I've tried using virtual desktop to avoid needing to go back to my main monitors, but for some reason it cuts my framerate nearly in half when trying to run games with virtual desktop on simultaneously.
What kind of setup do you guys run to make life more convenient?

Know what you mean. I use a small folding table next to my sim to set my keyboard and mouse on before I get in and for various things that might come up while simming but it’s hard to see my monitor. No good solutions to share except one person here mentioned affixing a touch pad to their rig. Don’t remember who or the brand but have considered it myself. Doesn’t help seeing the monitor though.

What about running a Remote Desktop app on phone or tablet? Small screen would be a downside but would handle launching assetto etc.

You could use a mobile phone or tablet with Splashtop or similar remote access software, it should not have a significant performance hit.

It may be me :think, with a Ergo Touch Pad and Razer Tartarus, but you still need to see the main monitor for some game setups.

Interesting, I'll have to look into one of those RDP apps. Maybe a cheap aliexpress tablet mounted next to the steering wheel would do the trick.
