    Hello,
I have a buttkicker in my setup I would like to use to have traction loss feedback.
It's not wheel slip (which I could get with SimHub or FlyPT).
I couldn't find a way to use the Extra1 info (usually the traction loss) with GameVibe either (as it only accepts the channels programmed in the plugin).
I couldn't find this calculation in FlyPT either (thumbs up to value1 and yobuddy done that in SimTools!).

So what I did: I'm using SimTools to obtain the traction loss info (Extra1) and sending to FlyPT's custom inferface. I can then manipulate this info inside FlyPT and use it to activate the transducer (range changing amplitude of the vibration).

There's some finetuning yet to do, but it achieves my goal already.

I was wondering: is there any other (simpler) way to do it? Did anyone saw something similar?

We would simply need to add traction loss to game vibe to do this.
Never really thought of that before.

What is the status on this @yobuddy?
I am very interested in being able to do 'Tactile Traction Loss' (Trademark?) in LFS. I have heard that there is telemetry available for individual wheel Slip Angle in LFS would that be a good source for the lateral traction data? In my implementation I have a bass shaker on brake and accel pedals as well as a pair on the seat.

Traction Loss for vibe is built into v3, but it's only implemented in a few plugins so far.
The F1 and Dirt Rally games have it, and so does AC so far.
We will be adding it to the rest over time thou.
    Take care :thumbs
