    Me personally would go with a Sabertooth 2x32 they are well worth the money and if you wanna go overkill get a 2x60 :)

    Well, continuing my saga, I discovered that these 12v or 24v engines do not last very long and can not push a lot of weight ... talking to a friend, told me that stepper is much stronger, working on 220v. is a good idea? Even if they are more expensive? And this can be used with arduino and sabertooth as well or from what I understand, sabertooth control only DC motors?
    ( my intention is 200kg + platform )
    And I am seriously thinking of going from 2 to 3 dof, the difference is great, and with the central spring, it seems to force less the engines besides giving me better result in height

    I've been using 12v motors for 2 years on my 6DOF and they have lasted fine. If you want to go AC you can but you will probably need a thanos board or something like that sabertooth and arduinos are a no go. Plenty of people here using 12v/24v for 6DOF
