    Hi All,

Firstly I'd like to commend everyone on the forum and the amount of documentation that's been created on the site. It's great to see.

To give you an idea of what I'm trying to achieve. I do not currently have a sim set up but i do have the sim tools software and an arduino. What i want to do is prove the concept before building the seat mover. I plan to do this using the arduino and some small motors to begin with an then move on to building a full scale model.

I have a laptop that i run iracing on, I also have the full sim tools package installed on this machine. What i need to do is get a set up of sim tools running with the iracing plugin that allows me to view the output from iracing.

I have tried to do this using the game engine output tools option but i cannot get any info to populate the virtual axis.

I suppose I want to know is if their is any way to get iracing or any other sw running and view the outputs without having a physical sim connected. Is there anyway to view outputs from a game that the arduino (plus other SW) would use to control the motors?

Any advice would be greatly received,

    Chris

you can see the numbers changing in the tuning centre in game, but to run on a model, you would need a code.
I think @eaorobbie has a arduino code that I know of for a model.
    Probably didnt answer the question.........

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply and you certainly have answered the question. If the game is not updating values in the tuning centre then i would guess that it's an issue with the plugin? I will follow the plug in updater guide again to make sure i've done it correctly.

    Thanks

did you patch the game? I am not sure where you patch it for Iracing, id guess there is a "saved games" folder or does it go into the program files directory.
