    Hallo :)

    ich bin auch ganz neu hier (gerade registriert) und ebenfalls auf der suche nach 2 aktuatoren für meinen simulator leider habe ich das gleiche problem wie du...
    da ich aus österreich komme suche ich natürlich in erster linie dort bzw. auch in deutschland nach anbietern leider gestalltet sich die suche äusserst mühsam.
    habe auch schon mit ein paar firmen telefoniert aber die sind etwas überfordert wenn ich ihnen erkläfe wofür ich die teile brauche....
    obwohl ich von den technischen daten her genau weis was ich brauchen würde:
    mind. 500N / hub 400-600mm/ geschwindigkeit 100mm/s

    daher würde es mir auch sehr helfen wenn jemand einen tipp hätte woher man diese dinger zu akuraten preisen bekommen könnte?!? :)

    Danke!

    Hello bvillersjr,
    Thanks for your answer, I have already found your webside (really great) but unfortunately I dont know how this squares with the delivery to Austria or control with the duty and taxation .... so I do not dare to order.
    I would be interested especially for your motion starter kit but I'm not sure whether the actuators are suitable for my design? According to my calculations I would need a force of min. 500N and speed of 100mm/s especially, I fear that the stroke of the actuators (150mm) is not sufficient.

    maybe you'd even sell only the control without actuator? I wonder whether that is to use actuators instead of windshield wiper motors ...? Perhaps I would use wiper motor instead of actuators.
    Sure you know the simcraft 2dof wood construction. I think I would imagine my simulator also.

    Thx :)

    @Puma

    For your case, I would suggest the SCN6 given that the details of your design can accomodate it. Since you are planning to move the wheels and pedals also, I would suggest more than 100mm /sec!! When you move the wheels and pedals, you need to move at much higher speeds to achieve a realistic feeling IMHO.

    If properly implemented, the SCN6 actuator may work for you. I can provide SCN6 actuators as well. You can find the specificatrion of an SCN6 in this document:http://www.simxperience.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=xTZlrfT-mtY=&tabid=135&forcedownload=true. I have not added the SCN6 to our website yet but I can perpare a quote for you. I am not an expert in shipping to your country, so I cannot comment on duties, etc.. FedEx claims to offer a service that pre-prepares all of this paperwork so that costs are known up front. I have not used this service from FedEx before, but I examine it to see if it may help you.

    In a few weeks I will update the website to sell the electronics separately.

    :cheers:

    @bvillersjr
    Thx for your offer! :)
    At the moment it looks like that the delivery to austria ist not cheap and easy...
    The taxes and duty costs up to 30% ...
    But I'll check in more details.
