If you want the best, get the ECCI Force Feedback wheel.

You did not specify your budget..

What is the 'best' wheel set is very relative ... And like Frakk said, you did not mention your budget ...

The ECCI wheels should be fantastic wheels but at 2599$ they doesn't even come with a H-Gate or sequential shifter!! ... only paddles ...

What are you looking for ? A complete set with clutch, H-Gate and sequential stick shifter ? Or only a wheel?

G25-G27 seems to be the most popular options for the price ...

    Hmmm,

I had many wheels, except the ECCI wheels, also because they did not have FFB (witch is a must) and they now have one, but it does not support other rotations of degrees then 900 or so and is very expensive.
I now have since a year or so the Frex Simwheel. Its very expensive and has a major flaw that means you will need to maintenance the wheel and eventually replace parts. This is a big problem for many users. However its the best wheel in the world if it works like it supposed to.
This week i used a ARC modded G27 wheel and i was stunned...in a negative way, it sucked big time if you know how the frex feels, The Frex is silent, super fast and extremely smooth. You feel the rubber in your hands... I know many people here are always bashing frex for lack of there support and guarantees. But to be honest, if you have the cash for it, and don't mind maintaining the wheel, its the best option in my view. Sadly its not available at this time for unknown reason.
If you are a beginner then a Logitech is always a good point to begin with, the gap to really good wheels is sadly very big budget wise...

    Regards,

    Rob

I agree with you about logitech G25-27 FFB ... There toys ... and the G27 is so noisy...

I think the only very good compromise between cheaper wheels and high end wheels like Frex or other ones is what Fanatec as to offer ...

Fanatec FFB is day and night compared to Logitech wheels and it's very smooth due to the fact that it's driven by a belt. Also a very cool feature is to be able to adjust settings directly on the wheel during gameplay.

    Thanks for the replies!
Will study each and post my response!
I was leaning towards the Logitech g27, but found A lOGITECH GT PRO at a local Game stop and I might get that one its at my toy money reach at the moment!

    Many thanks!
    to you all!
Also one more Question how do you guys configure the steering wheel to turn in increments instead of a steep turn?
With the controller lets say when I press the turn arrow in either direction and release it only turns for that long you pressed the turn button, with the steering wheel it fall to a full turn.

hope to hear from you son!!

In this price range 90-150$, the Logitech GT Pro will be just fine
