Hello, i am patinate about cars and racing, used to live in Europe but now i am in Iraq, no tracks here, so i decided to build motion sim by myself, don't want to buy, want to enjoy making it myself.. i ordered G29 wheel with gear and Oculus quest 2 for VR..
now, i need to know few things,
    ****
is there a way to build the rig without microchips and coding? i mean is there some motor that can be directly attached to USB and get controlled by sim tools?
    ****
if the above question's answer is no, then, at the moment i have one arduino UNO with kit and tiny servo motor, can i somehow now get simtools just to test that tiny motor? if it worked then i will order bigger motors and start building the rig while the motors arrive..
    ****
if i wanted to build a 3dof rig, can you please write me a list with all the hardware that i need to order?
    ****
if everything is fine, i will document all steps i do from ZERO till the playing game with rig fully functioning and publish to help everyone else, for free.
    ****
i am pro 3D designer, here is my portfolio ( www.artstation.com/ahmedhasan ) , i use many different software, like 3ds max and UE4 and inventor, first i will model everything in 3D and make blueprints for everyone else for reference to return the favor,
    ****
also, if there is actually a way to test the rig virtually somehow in 3D, would be awesome if there is article about that. ( once i saw something like so but i can't find it again )
    .....
i think that's it, thank you.

The FAQs are a useful resource for these and other common questions: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

Some sort of controller is needed.

Yes you can build a test model with an Arduino and servos, see the FAQs here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/build-a-model-to-test-your-design-ideas.136/

Don't order anything until you finalise a design and get member feedback on that, it will save your time, frustration and money, use either of these tools to get your head around design Vs physics tradeoffs:

It is possible to drive a 3D model: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/how-to-animate-sketchup-3d-model-with-simtools.209/

Or have a play with an existing virtual simulator: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simulate-a-simulator.350/

thanks that was really helpful... will start slowly on the virtual workflow and keep you updated.
