Stärkere FFB Motoren ?

    Hallo,

    ich bin Frank aus Hanau in Hessen, und obwohl ich die 30 Lenze schon länger überschritten habe, habe ich immer noch einen augeprägten Spieltrieb. :)
    Manchmal zum Leidwesen meiner Freundin die meine grenzdebilen Macken jeden Tag aufs Neue tolleriert. :cheers:
    Insbesondere Rennsimulationen haben es mir schon seit C-64 Brotkisten-Zeiten angetan.

    Nun bin ich durch Zufall auf eure Seite gestossen und beim stöbern im Forum (speziell des DIY-Simulator Bereichs) hats auch nicht lang gedauert und ich war sozusagen angefixt :eek:

    Übrigens... Glückwunsch zu euren ersten Erfolgen was das SCN5-Aktuator-Projekt betrifft !
    Ich verfolge den Thread schon eine Weile und freu mich immer mit euch mit wenns neue Fortschritte gibt. :happy:

    Nun, ich bin weder Elektrotechniker noch Programmierer... eher Handwerker! :?
    Wie sagt man noch... Jemand der von allem ein bisschen doch nix richtig kann. :D
    Was mich jedoch nicht davon abhält alles mögliche auszuprobieren und herum zu experimentieren.
    Ungebremste Neugier und ausgeprägter Spieltrieb eben... :yippiee:

    Wo wir beim Thema wären...
    Nur eine Spinnerei, aber vielleicht könnt ihr ja helfen...
    Angenommen ich möchte eine PKW-Lenksäule vom Schrott an die Nabe eines handelsüblichen FFB-Lenkrad anbringen...
    Mal angenommen die Plastik-Mechanik würde das mitmachen...
    ...schätze ich mal das die FFB-Motoren viel zu schwach wären um ein ordentliches FFB am Lenkrad auszugeben. Die schwere Lenksäule würde vermutlich zuviel der Energie schlucken .

    Gibt es den die Möglichkeit einfach stärkere Motoren einzubauen, um die größere Masse die bewegt werden muss auszugleichen?
    Oder spielt da die restliche Elektronik des Lenkrads nicht so ohne weiteres mit ?
    Wenn ja, welche Art Motoren bräuchte ich dafür und auf was sollte man achten?

    Hi,

    If you are going to hack a FFB joystick (or wheel) you will need bigger motor. And to get the bigger motor work with the existing FFB electronics, you will need to hack the electronics to be able to handle larger current demands.

    herzlich willkommen:) Wieso möchtest Du eine echte KFZ Lenksäule anbringen? Die wird sicherlich zu schwer sein um ohne Austausch von Motoren und Elektronik noch sinnvolle Effekte auf Dein Lenkrad übertragen zu können. Schau Dir mal Egoexpress Ansatz an. Er hat die Lenksäule ausgetauscht, vernünftige Lager verwendet und dann sein Wunschlenkrad angepasst, ohne den aufwendigen Weg über neue Motoren zu gehen.
