Since my last post I have given up trying to set my simulator up with the Dimension Engineering’s Kangaroo as I could not get this to work whatever I tried with the settings for the device.

So I have decided to use the SPS sketch with my sabertooth controller 32x2, after changing my wiring for the simulator to match the requirements for SPS I started to use the Windows SMC3 Configuration software and managed to get the right motor working ok but not the left.

Is there any way I can reset the data in the Windows SMC3 Configuration software back to default settings, I have tried to reset the data on the Arduino by reloading the sketch , resetting my laptop to factory spec and reloading the software, after all of this the settings on the Windows SMC3 Configuration software are still there I am now bewildered where does it hold its data ?

I also noted that the motor selection buttons are always on for 1,2,3

I would be most grateful for any help.:(

That is weird. My SMC3 settings are stored in the documents folder. Have you tried reinstalling the SMC3 software? SMC remembers the last config file loaded, and even if you reupload the script to the Arduino, the Utils application will write those settings to the script. I would recommend redownloading SMC3 and making sure your documents folder is cleared of .ini files.
