    Hi
I m new here and very glad that I found so much useful infos.

Based in China ( but 14 years stayed in France), just got a new kit to start. As below:

Fanatec DD1 with Porsch 918 wheel
    3 sumsung monitors
Play seat mounted by my self with 5 actuators (motors?axis?)
    __4 axis vertical and 1 horizontal(side slide)

With my poor English and lack of knowledge, first of all is this called a 3DOF or 4DOF?

And then I found montions in game (exemple. ACC) are to much that I think I should have a real safe belt...

Hope I would get some help here...Thx all XD.

Welcome, sounds like a cool rig and I hope you will share more details and photos.

From your description your rig sounds like it is 3DOF + traction loss.

A race harness is a good idea and can add to the simulated forces, by being driven parasitically via the motion of the rig or by telemetry data.

If motion is too pronounced and unrealistic then you may need to refine your motion profile, see the tips here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

It pays to also grab a copy of the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

If you would like members to make tuning suggestions then please post pictures of all of your settings and if possible a video that shows the rig movement and game screen at the same time.
