I am using 12V winches and Motomonster. Since today one winch is singing and not correctly moving...no joke. When the winch "sings", I can move the lever by hand, there is absolutely no withstand.

Before I have to disassemble the complete heave unit I ask you, by what this phenomena could be caused.

EDIT: one MM died. One of both MM generates only 3V.

The failure rate is nothing. This is the first MM which failed due two years intensive testing and you know my motors are bigger than yours ;) If ever one will fail if ever this will happen one replacement is only 8$. BTW while disassembling my rig I determined many of not well tightened screws so this opportunity was more than welcome. :)

PS: I disassembled the winch, too. The winch is like new. Cheap and sturdy.
