I know this problem came up shortly after I showed the proof of concept that the IMS-1 24V/20A H-Bridge driver boards work with SMC3

    https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...tor-driver-and-windows-utilities.4957/page-33

But that thread got a bit out of control and lcturkey didn´t came to a solution there I think.
Sadly it took me a long time until I was able to continue on the project so I am coming back to this pretty late :(

Did anyone come to a solution with this ?

Region shouldn´t be a problem as windows is installed in english?

Haha sh... I wasn´t smart enough to read that from these lines:

    ---------------------
Setup for Simtools is very straight forward:

    [A<Axis1>][B<Axis2>][C<Axis3>]
    Set for 10bit binary output
    Baud rate 500000 , N , 8 , 1 (10ms delay)
    ---------------------
    trying right now...

EDIT: nope, that wasn´t the problem. TX LED on Arduino lights up but no movement with the sliders :-/

No luck, I also tried to put [A<Axis1>][B<Axis2>][C<Axis3>] in startup output and shutdown output but that doesn´t make a difference.
I also tried to monitor the serial activity but that doesn´work because the port is busy with simtools :-/

If you are using SimTools 2 you have to set up as follows:

    [A<Axis1a>][B<Axis2a>][C<Axis3a>]

BTW SimTools and SMC3 cannot run at the same time.

Alright, thanks! This works. And yes I assumed SMC3 and Simtools don´t work together so I tried both ways before. But it was the "a" .
Great, now I just need to wait for the 24V psu´s. Just found out that the 12V won´t lift me but at least my kids ;-)
Get a wheel and pedals and build some frames that holds them.
And of course a licence for simtools :D

Once I got everything together I´ll post a long posting with materials and costs and of course some photos.
