    Hey all,

I'm currently trying to get my motors working with the IBT-2 and an UNO board. Now i have movement of the motor, but the motor is turning back very slowly....

So lets say forward motion is fast, but backwards is like a turtle... :S

These are as far as i know no wiper motors, but worm motors (not much knowledge about motors...). The motors are DC 12V.

Attached are some pictures, maybe that can clarify something

Just to elaborate some more (where a picture is worth more then...)

When i move the slider to the left, it turns fast. When i slide it back to zero, or over to the right it turns slow. Maybe this is done automatically by the program, i don't know (if so i'm sorry..).

See if you can isolate the issue.

If you swap the control boards to the other motor does the problem remain with the same motor of follow the swap to the new motor?

Hey noorbeast, thanks for the reply!

I just hooked up the other motor to the other control board and that is giving me the same results :S. Same story there when i pull the slider to the right, it goes slow.

I do have some other motors lying around, that i probably was going to use for the 3rd DOF. I can try and hook that one up and see if it is the motor that is doing this, the downside is that these are single shaft so i cant easily hook up the pot on that one :(.

Correction: I forgot my other motors run on 24v and i don't have a power supply yet for that :(.

A 24v motor should run on 12v, worth a test to isolate if the issue is the motor or control board.
