Is it possible to mount a pvc Simul8r on top of a 3dof platform? I don't know when I will start with my 3dof project but I think I can make a Simul8r now this weekend and use that on top of a moving platform once built. Would it work? Thank you for all the responses I have received so far.

It would be possible, as long as you work out the balance point for it.

Normally it all comes down to cost. You could put your house on a 3DOF/motion rig with the right budget.

One thing to keep in mind is that a static pvc cockpit doesn't have to be as strong/rigid as one that is subjected to motion forces.

    Plan and strengthen accordingly.
