    Good morning!

I'm trying to work out if there already a plugin that adapts SimTools into SimFeedback (SFX-100 actutator project). If not I'm considering writing it.

I've recently built an SFX-100 rig and am enjoying it immensely. I think I can give back to the community by bridging the SimTools world into the SimFeedback one - in this way we let both communities / software develop in parallel and the inherent value in each system is recognized.

My background is C/C++/Qt programming so I'm not so worried about the tech side of things.

    So my questions:
    - has anyone done this - please send me links to threads / people to contact - I'd rather not duplicate effort.
    - something SIMILAR with a different project already been done? Maybe this has been done for something similar to SimFeedback, that project may provide a great starting point from the SimTools side of things.
    - is there a similar thread elsewhere in xsimulator.net that is handling this (I'm new here, any pointers appreciated).
    - are there any legal barriers to this? I've emailed SimTools.us already asking the same, but it doesn't hurt to ask. So far I see zero barrier to this but I believe it is far smarter to ask up front :) It's obvious to me from a technical standpoint that both SimTools / SimFeedback openly support the concept of plugins and promote the idea - so I'd be pretty darn surprised to get anything else apart from a resounding YES here.

    Thanks

As far as I know nobody has yet interfaced a SimFeedback rig.

The SimTools API is here: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...lugin-for-simtools-2-0-api-documentation.131/

Legally I see the SimFeedback is under the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0. - I won't give a legal opinion, just reference the actual CC advice that "CC licenses are appropriate for all types of content you want to share publicly, except software and hardware": https://wiki.creativecommons.org/wi...rs_and_licensees#Considerations_for_licensors
