Bug Simtools errors while loading

    Hello,

    Today I downloaded the Dirt 2.0 patch from this link:
    https://simtools.us/plugin/?varname=21&color=0e97dd

    I then launched the Simtools plugin updater and it finished successfully, But now neither the Game Engine nor Game Manger will launch I get the following message.

    If I hit continue it launches but doesn't connect. I have no games in the Game Selection dropdown is there a way to remove the patch?

    NOTE: I am using simtools 2.5.5 I am debating on uninstalling simtools completely but worried I will mess up my license and lose and save data!

    I was able to get my Simtools working again by deleting the patch data in the following folder.
    C:\Users\Bladez\AppData\Local\SimTools\GamePlugins

    Not sure if there is an issue with the patch from https://simtools.us/plugin/?varname=21&color=0e97dd or what? If anyone has any ideas on how to fix please let me know.

    You can't use v3 plugins in v2 of SimTools buddy.
    But you can get SimTools v3 here, that will work with that plugin.

    I ended up installing v3 and so far I really like it figured it out pretty quick for not reading anything. It definitely could use a wizard where it steps you through the things you absolutely need to do in order to get it to work. A question mark with details of each thing would be helpful for example the serial connection.

    But we don't have the manual or videos yet to link too.
