    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF
    Platform: DOFReality H3
    Sim: P3dV4.3
Simtools: Current version; installed across two computers (game manager running on sim pc, game engine running on network pc).

Occasionally the motion platform will stop working. Simtools, both game manager and game engine, indicate they are connected and working, however, the motion platform no longer responds to the sim. This happens most often when the sim has been paused for some period of time. I have ensured that the USB ports are set to not be turned off by the pc power management routine.

I have to shutdown the game manager, game engine, and, motion platform to regain platform motion.

    Any ideas???

    Regards,

    Danny

The first thing that comes to mind is to check for any loose connections to your interface(s).
Are you using a USB hub by chance?

I have checked the connections and everything appears solid. I do not use a hub. The DOFReality interface/power unit USB is plugged directly into the pc.

    It is puzzling......

Try swapping out the USB cables and also try using different USB ports.

Ferrite clip on magnets can also help.

Understand the ferrite clips, am a amateur radio op. I changed the USB port and cable. Hopefully, that will help.
