    Hi All!

Thanks for reading my thread and issue.

I have a buttkicker mini lfe installed under my seat that goes to an amp. that amp is connected to my pc.
It is connected to my realtek onboard soundcard. The buttkicker does vibrate but it also makes game/windows sounds which is pretty annoying.

I have connected it as sub(blue line in) front speakers(green line in) and even as microphone(pink line in) but it all gives the same result...

I thought I had read things like no second soundcard needed to make 1 buttkicker work properly. I have checked the box orange at the GameVibe part of simtools 2.1

Can anybody please explain what I am doing wrong? Does simvibe make the difference? I just can't find the issue and it drives me crazy...

    Thanks alot!
    Roy

GameVibe is still in development and has not yet been released.

    Hi Noorbeast,

Thanks for your reply. Does this mean the sound I get out of the buttkicker is normal when not using a program like gamevibe/simvibe?
And what about the onboard soundcard? That shouldnt be the issue?

Thanks in advance for the replies.
    Roy

If it is just normal sound out, with no low pass filter, then what you experience is not unusual. SimVibe and the like use a separate sound card, either on-board or USB can work.

Try experimenting with DriveVibe for AC, it is free, while you are waiting for the release of Game Vibe: http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/drivevibe-body-shaker.8850/

What you got is totally normal.
You are hearing the sound of the game true your buttkicker it is acting like a speaker.
This sound makes your buttkicker vibrating.

A game vibe program will turn this sound into vibration and then you feel only the vibration without the sound :)

I have bought a amp with LFE built in and it works really well sharing the front speaker output, im running 2 tranducers with it and it really does make a difference.
