I initially got this to work when I first got the DOFReality H3 platform. I haven't used the car racing games over a year due to unrelated reason. Now, I want to race again, but I cannot get the DOFReality H3 platform to move at all during any game like Dirt Rally 2, Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa. I have Windows 10 with the latest updates installed. I get this error message when turning on a PC:
    Serial_InterfacePlugin
The interface connected to COM7 is not detected.

I have to click on it 5 times for it to go away.
From the Device Manager->Ports (COM & LPT), USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM4) is listed for the DOF H3 platform so I don't know where it gets COM7 from. I updated all the USB latest drivers. I updated to the latest SimTool 2.51. When I launch the SimTool->Output Testing and turn on the Game Engine, Roll and pitch move the H3 platform when I move the corresponding slide bar. After that, I launch Dirt Rally, the H3 platform doesn't move at all during the drive. I contacted DOFReality. They said if I can get the H3 Platform to manually move in the SimTool->Game Engine, I need to contact you guys for further troubleshooting. Please Help!

Sounds like the com port needs to be updated in the SimTools Interface settings, but it would help if you posted photos of all settings and warnings.

I examined the Interface settings and changed all 6 interfaces to COM4. Now the error below went away after restarting the PC, which makes sense:
    Serial_InterfacePlugin
The interface connected to COM7 is not detected.

Apparently, it must have detected the port as COM7 previously. However, I still get no motion from the DOFReality H3 platform during Dirt Rally, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars 2 or any other racing games. I still get the motion if I launch the SimTool->Game Engine and manually test the Output Testing. From the SMC3 Utilities, I also get motions from all 3 motors. I attached more screenshots for you to examine. Thank you!

    If m
If motion works in Output Testing then the configuration is fine.

Most likely you have not patched the games for motion, properly configured the internal game settings (PCars & Codemaster Games) and/or properly set up a motion profile for each.

My apologies! I had to troubleshoot the wheel issue for a long time. Finally, got the defective wheel replaced. I was able to get the Dirt Rally 2.0 and Assetto Corsa to work by reinstalling the patch. However, reinstalling the patch didn't work for the Project Cars 2. I changed the "Use Shared Memory" from NO to "Project Cars 2" (Project Cars & Project Cars 2 are the only 2 other options I have. No Option for "Yes" like in Project Cars game). I reinstalled the Project Cars 2 plugin as well. I deleted the Project Cars 2 folder underneath the \document folder, but no avail. Game still works. I just cannot get the motion from the DOFReality platform. Any other advice is greatly appreciated!

Got it working now. Hooooorayyyyy!!! Allow me to explain. I'd already reconfigured as you had stated previously such as turned on Shared Memory. PC2 doesn't have the directory listed when the patch is installed so I couldn't follow the codemaster games's suggestion. One thing I noticed that there are 2 PC2 games listed in the SIM Tools Game Manager:
    1. Project Cars 2 UPD
    2. Project Cars 2 UDP PC
When I launch, PC2, "Project Cars 2 UDP PC is the one that launches everytime. Logically, reinstalled the patch for "Project Cars 2 UDP PC" should suffice, which is what I've been doing several times. Just for giggles, I reinstalled the patch for "Project Cars UDP". Lo and behold, it's working like a charm with no other tweaking necessary. Thank you very much for your expertise. Your suggestions had guided me in the right direction and finally resolved this issue. Now, I'm ready to rock the DD1 and Porsche 911 GT3 wheel I just got the other day
