The idea is to create a 3 dof simulator that we have in the third movement a great excursion. We would like to take advantage of the advantages of 24 volts, low currents and faster operating speeds.
The goal is to keep costs low.

One goal is to have an adjustable seat, it is ease of access. Knowing how to weld metal, the structure will be made of steel. I chose rectangular tubes 40 by 10 and 20 by 10.

Another requirement would be to create a frame where the steering wheel pedal and the screen move together. I tried projects with fixed runner and I didn't like them.

This is the frame for the third movement. The three engines and electronics will be fixed. The third motor is fixed between the v-bars.

in these images you can see the platform on which the simulator runs (yaw, extra movement).

In these images they show the steering wheel holder that can be adjusted in height. The frames are finished.

It's a bet. Dependent on the levers of your simulator, I took 40: 1.

The doubt is about the durability of the mechanical parts, it seems that they have a good locking torque.

Next weekend I will try to assemble them and create the arms. They will be 6 cm long from hole to hole.

Realizing the parts so that everything is in axis took time, and a lot of filing !! Even if I use an articulated joint, these potentiometers are delicate.
