    Hello,

I've mounted a butt kicker Pearl THMP-1 to my rig.
It's connected to the headphone port of my pc (the default audio port is connected with a 5.1 sound system).
With the voicemeeter software I've managed to get things to work; both regular audio and butt kicker.

    Butt! ;)
When there is a low (bass) sound, the thumper reacts; within the games menu or youtube or any other sound.
Is it possible to let the thumper only reacts to the impact the car gets within games?
For example when the engine starts or when I hit the curbs.
I've got the simtools v2.2.5 Pro license.
    Thanks!

I think the problem is your using the same sound card for both Game Vibe and the game sound?
    Is this true @wijnants_d?

If so maybe just another cheep sound card would fix your problem.
    Take care,

    Thanks for the help!

I only got an onboard sound card. The Voicemeeter software virtually splits my sound card in two

Yesterday I received my new Rig; DOF reality P3.
So before I can test GameVibe, I've got some work to do :)

A USB sound card is an easy way to add another, and they are pretty cheap.

Got a Logitech Z506 working for regular sounds and got GameVibe installed for the Butt kicker.
I still got just my onboard soundcard...

How do I need to setup my Pearl Throne Thumper. There is a knob for volume and one for lowpass (Hz).
Volume speaks for itself, but how do I have to set the lowpass knob? (50 to 250hz)

The RPM response from Dirt Rally (Dirt Rally profile selected) is more like a buzzing noise than the feeling of a motor running...
    How can I fix this?
    Sound: Sin
    input 0%: 20% 30Hz
    input 100%: 80% 70Hz

    Thanks again all!

Well... I think I figured it out. lol

The max output by GameVibe is 70Hz, so that's the minimum value for my butt kicker lowpass.

For the RPM I changed my values and it is getting better, testing sounds awesome.
    Sound: Sin
    input 0%: 25% 10Hz
    input 100%: 50% 70Hz

But in the game it doesn't go down to 10Hz, I guess because of running stationary isn't 0% input.
Therefore I changed the input 0% to 25% 5Hz. This works!
Or is this the wrong solution and do I have to set the RPM low-setting in GameVibe - Tuning center to the rpm value of running stationary?
