Samsung looks set to relaunch the Odyssey with what it calls an Anti-SDE Display, a diffusion layer claimed to emulate a doubling of pixel density: https://www.roadtovr.com/samsung-odyssey-plus-price-anti-sde-display/

And misleading, its preceptive not real. However it uses the same sort of SDE reduction lenses as the psvr, and that worked great since its only 1080.

Too bad there is no way for motion cancilation for us motion sim users, as this is a much cheaper option than the vive pro or pimax. (I have the oddysey and its great for sims)

It is also misleading in that this is a similar thing to what PSVR does in using a diffuser, which may help reduce the perceived SDE, but does not necessarily improve sharpness in the way additional real pixels would.
