I hope everyone has wired an emergency stop switch into their rig.
I would like to expand the safety features to include an automatic shut down sensor.
With the new AC servo stepper motors I am using it is possible to achieve accelerations that could injure the rider.
I am not really sure where to begin but I will assume we are talking about G-forces.
If the G-force exceeds 2G's shut down the motors until manually restarted.
That is what I would like to try.
    I ordered an Adafruit LIS3DH Triple-Axis Accelerometer (+-2g/4g/8g/16g)
that I hope to hook up to a Arduino nano and activate my safety circuit.
Never having done such a project and with my limited knowledge of "C+" I will need to adapt sketches from other online sources.

    Any thoughts??

    That is the exact scenario.
Losing control of the plane.. Usually stall and snapping. I can not always gain control back. When the plane hit the ground the rig reacts violently.
From what I can tell there is no way to stop this in DCS.
Right now I have 2 E-Stop switches mounted either side of me.
To be on the safe side I just activate one as soon as I get into a spin.
The accelerometer would just be a backup.
