    Hi everyone,

I need to choose a motor controller for my 3-dof simulator.

I will be using a PSU as power source.

I'm thinking of Sabertooth 2x32 or the Cytron MD30C

A difference is, of course, the price.
    2x Sabertooth €275 vs. 3x Cytron €130.

I read on the forum that the Sabertooths handles regenerative current using parallel resistors and is pretty simple to setup.

What are the Cytron's options in this regard, is it the same as with the sabertooths?
And does this make the build more difficult or does it add to overall cost.

a battery parallel to the cytron is needed according to the manual.
What specification should the battery need to have for it to work ?

24v batteries are pretty expensive, so that would make the total for the cytron set up close to the sabertooth.
Are there any other advantages to the Sabertooth that justify the price difference?

    Thanks
