    First of all without this forum I would have never started experimenting with a simulator so thanks to everyone.

    This is my first attempt at a simulator and its at the stage of testing, still just tacked together. Based on a uni joint setup.

    I used the motion dynamic 24v worm drive motors which was somehow my only purchase.

    For feedback I had two TPS sensors from VR commodores. I just milled a square edge on the 12mm drive shaft. I still need to get spring pins to secure the shaft to the motor correctly and it shows in the testing as a very jerky movement when transitioning rotation.

    I used trampoline springs to stabilise neutral positioning

    Anyways here it the first test which needs a lot of tuning.



    Also had the idea to use steering racks from the same cars to allow smaller motors on the steering arm to control some serious pushing power but first things first.

    Thanks for that, somehow the video was scheduled to go public tomorrow but all good now. Still learning this stuff.

    Here is a few more pics of the two frames fully welded and painted.

    First Sim test with Live for Speed using SimTools 2.4 and with my power supply indicating current draw. Still needs tuning but I'm so impressed with the software.
