    Hi,
This monday i'll shop the parts of the Thanos list to begin my first sim.
Hope i buy the right stuff ;D
It will be an 2DOF SimforceGT Style Wiper Motor Cockpit.
My first goal is to make the electronic boards (AMC, H_bridge, LCD) and gather the motors and cables.
As i will not build the frame at first, it may be the JoyRider in the end.

    See you soon!
ps. I am using google translate to help me write correctly

    Yes, a bit!
    - In fact i have a lot of delays because:
I made an working table for this project.
I etch myself the AMC board and it's my first time!
I made the holes with a homemade drill.
I made a kind of exhaust to work with solder.
The missing parts are on their way, i had to buy them from maybe five different stores and not sure i have all.

    - Progress:
So the AMC is with +/-80% of components soldered (i hope i made it right!).
    I have three cables done.

    - To do list:
Tomorow i will etch the H-Bridge, try to drill the holes and solder the components.
    Post some pics.
I want to make the sketch on 3d.

So this is it. It is late here now so i won't post the pictures today.

I will trie do do the same simulator then you.

I'm fron Londrina and have some problens with the parts aslo.

Soon i will post my progress, for everybody.

I still reading e learning more about all parts ando configuration.

I would like to chenge somo expirience with you.

Can u give me de adress were u buy the electronics?

    Thanks

Nice job, but you've made two little mistakes :)

You've etched two wire bridges on board and short-circuited the lines. I hope you saw that and you plan to cut the lines before powering the circuit!!!!!!!

If you don't understand me, I'll edit your picture to show you.

EDIT: It should look like this, and you solder the bridge wire from component side to make connection

    Thanks Igor!

This is the link to the pdf i downloaded.
    download/file.php?id=1024
It's the sprint layout and as you can see the short circuit is in there.

Other thing is that parts list asks for:
    1x 10R resistor
    5x 10K resistor
I found 6x 10K and not the 10R on the layout.

Now i am going to look my h-bridge that is under water! Later will post more pics of my board with components.

    You're right for resistors, you need 6 x 10K (10R is wrong)
In pdf you stated, on first page, all layers are visible, you (and anybody else who will use this file) should toner transfer picture from page 2 (there are no short circuits there) :)
Later on page 4, you have 3 bridge wires (think of it as double sided pcb). I've missed the 3rd short circuit error on your board :(
It should be clear for you to find it but I'll post the fixed AMC picture:

    AVRmotioncontroller1_5_fix_pcb.gif

It is slightly different layout from the one you've used, but basically it's same circuit, and part values are correct (I've made my parts list using info from this picture).
I've made my AMC using this for reference and it is working like a charm (18MHz crystal and FW).
Notice the colors: GREEN - coper side of PCB, YELLOW - components (silk layer), RED - holes/solder pads and WIRE BRIDGES (component side of pcb)

I've made a step by ste guide for AMC and HB with all the info and part lists, but it is still waiting for developer review. I'm hoping it will be publish soon.
If you have any questions, post them.

You're right about 3rd short0-circuit, it is well marked on your last picture!
Just cut the wrong coper lines with sharp knife and you'll be OK.

Are there any problem if i use 5% tolerance resistors instead of 1%? :?
I ordered 5% because of some pictures i saw.
But other pictures show 1% resistors.

I spilled beer over some components of the AVR!
    Are they water proof?
Here is a picture of them.

Today i finished my second PCB (H-bridge)!
Here are the pics showing what i could gather until now.

What is not in these pictures is what i could not put my hands on yet.

It should work OK with 5% tolerance resistors, but it is advised to use 1% cause they are generally of better production quality. To be sure, measure the values using Ohm-meter just in case.
