    Hi There,

I am in the process of creating a 3d printed f1 steering wheel and I need a bit of advice about the best way to design a clutch paddle (im using an sli-f1 module for the electronics). I bought the following potentiometer from the Leo Bodar web site thinking i could just bolt a paddle on to the rotating shaft.

Is this the correct type of component for a clutch paddle and if yes can it deal with a radial load being applied to the shaft.

Thanks for any help in advance
