    Hello guys,
    I started my 1st project.
I want to build from an old Formula Student car an simulator.
The goal is to adapt the existing suspension I`d like to dismantle the spring damper unit, and replace it with electric actuator or hydraulic cylinder.

With Force Profiler/ sender and I have already set apart, and I have already read out the desired forces.

But now to my problem, even after a lot of reading work I have not really found an approach I can implement the controller.

How should I start on top? Should I choose the actuators at first? or use to make my first thought what kind of interface I can use? .. In Force profiler so are a few interface plug-ins listed. Since I'm not so good in the program I would like to use one of the listed interfaces, preferably with a USB output.

How should the cylinders are operated you think AC or DC ....
My thought was it should rather be AC motors, as apparently have more power.

Do not get me wrong, I do not want you doing my work, just go give an insight into my thoughts that you can understand better what direction your help may could be.

Would be thankful for some links (hardware etc.)
    I'm curious on your tips.

Thank you in advance and I will go and read more.
