    Hello x-simulator community!

We are currently trying to install Race Driver GRID on interactive simulator nicknamed Sarturis located in Dresden Technical University. You can see some pictures of the simulator at www.sarturis.de .
Now the easy part was getting all the information required for the simulator from the game. The problem we are now facing is reading the input from the joystick inside the chamber and injecting it into the game.
As of now the input is sent through a CAN-Bus to a Control-PC and later via LAN to another Computer (the PC which would in our setup run GRID). This of course would not work as an Input-method for GRID. Our question is, do you have any suggestion how we could control GRID in this setup? How could we spoof an USB-Joystick for Windows, when we really just have the Control-Data sent over LAN. None of us has any experience writing drivers for XP or anything and just using USB is not really a possibility because sadly these computers are too far away.

Thanks in advance for your replies!
