    Hey :)

I saw that some stores on AliExpress starting to have "Quiet Drives" as option for AASD servos. I checked a bunch, and it's not all of them, but this one for example has them:

...at least on their 80ST M04025 Servos. Link

For some reason they chose to make them in.... gupl.....white! ...but I put them in a box anyways.

They're just a 10€ upgrade, which seems reasonable to me, given that I have spent much more on sound deadening material for my driver-box:

That's a reduction by an order of magnitude, but the 10KHz whining noise is still audible.

Has anyone ever used these quiet drives? Do they keep what they promise? Do they have any disadvantages? Do they cause less EMI problems as well?

Some of us have been watching for feedback. You're the first. Thanos promised feedback but I havent seen it. I'm not jumping up and down for it, just curious really. Looking forward to seeing somebody show us what different components are used.
Seems to me the issue is the switching frequency which I thought was fundamental to the drive.

Neat! I was planning on asking the same question until I read this thread. I'm thrilled to know that the notorious whine is eliminated with these. :)

    Thanks for the link @cfischer!
