    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, Arduino
Hi everyone. I would like to build a budget 2DOF motion platform. My main concern is it cost and the technicality of the corresponding electronics.

    Topics:
    Arduino/SimTools
    power supply/motor controller

The thing that i am most concerned/confused about is the whole Game-SimTools-Arduino thing. Is there a way that i can test how and if it works without buying a SimTools license? SimTools apparently run in "Demo Mode" when you don't have a license. But i can't get it to go further that the login menu.

I want to use these two wheelchair motors (picture Below).
these wheelchair motors run at 24v and are quite powerful at 300w each. Because of that, i would need a power supply of at least 600w right? The motion when simulating is quite rapid (small bursts of power), so are the motors going to draw more that 300 watt?
Also, what motor driver should i use? I see a lot of people using the sabertooths controllers but those are quite expensive. I thought about using this https://www.ebay.com/itm/30A-HW-292...=123975872093f6c0fb993eaa4deba0dc5e0c7dab3901. Is it enough for two wheelchair motors?
I also wondoret if i could use two of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/DC10-55V-1...970885?hash=item365917e005:g:fTUAAOSw7wZd5w5p. They run of potentiometer value. It that possible with arduino?

The physical design and manufacturing is no problem for me (i have a hobby machine shop) and i will post my progress when i come that far.

Sorry for being so helpless but i really don't know what i am doing.

If it turns out it works i will of course buy a propper SimTools license.

    Thanks!
