    Hello,
I am using Sim Commander 4 software to operate:
    Accuforce V2 wheel base
    G seat and G belt
    SimVibe

I use the Sim Racing Studio software to operate:
    4 DOF PT actuators
    1 SRS LED strip
    2 SRS Fans
    SRS Analog Tachometer

I use SimHub software to operate:
    Digital Tachometer
    2 flag indicators
    shift light indicator
    Racelogic device

My question is I have the Pro version of Sim tools software and want to operate a DOF Reality MP2 seat mover with these other software. I have already setup the seat mover and output tested with the slider and everything works. I have uploaded game plugins and the Game manager and Game engine show not connected and I am not sure how to initiate the Sim tools to start in game. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to setup the MP2 seat mover with the Sim Tools. I have added a link to a YouTube video of my setup with the DOF MP2 seat mover in use. I would like to use both the PT actuator and the MP2 together, thanks for any help.

    Respectfully,
    Dennis Warn

Be mindful that mixing software is likely to create port conflicts.

It would likely help if you posted pictures of all of your settings, including the Tuning Center while the game is running.

If SimTools Output Testing works as expected, is the game patched for motion, with a motion profile configured in Axis Assignments and other software temporarily shutdown?

I believe I have the port situated with the Sim tools software and the MP2 seat mover, I was able to use the slider in output testing to move the forward to aft and left to right motion. I will upload pictures of my settings and try operating the MP2 by itself in game. I patched the game as well, I will get back to you with the info you requested. Thanks for the quick reply and I hope I can get everything working together.

Here are the pics of the settings and nothing else is running, just sim tools. I didn't get any inputs when I was in game.

    Hello again,
I was running Sim Commander 4, Sim hub, and Sim Racing Studio with PT actuators as motion on PC2. I had just loaded into the game and all my devices kicked out and the Sim Commander 4 kicked out. I was confused on what the hell was going on and then noticed the Sim Tools was running upon start up of my PC. I shut the Sim tools down and then started everything I was running when starting PC2 and everything worked fine. I am thinking Sim tools doesn't work with Sim Commander 4 or Sim hub. Just wanted to know your opinion and if there is any other suggestion to run the DOF Reality MP2 seat mover other than Sim tools.

As mentioned previously it is not a SimTools issue, but rather mixing software is likely to create port conflicts.

SimTools can handle most of what you are trying to do, as long as there is hardware control access.

You are likely at the stage of hardware complexity where you need to step back and ask yourself the question about which software can offer the most control of diverse hardware, then rationalize your software based on that.

I have figured why the Sim tools wasn't working and it was my fault of course. I was following the 2 PC setup and not the single PC setup for the IP address. Now I can get the Sim tools to work with PC2 by itself with the DOF Reality MP2 seat mover and I got Sim tools to work with Sim Racing Studio software and the PT actuators. I tried using the Sim Commander 4, Sim Racing Hardware, and Sim Hub and the Sim tools makes 2 beep sound and disconnects all motion and other telemetry devices. I used the 2.0 USB cord from the DOF Reality MP2 seat mover to the PC directly with it's own dedicated USB port but I get the same issue. The 2 beeps isn't the same sound as a USB disconnect sound, does Sim tools work with Sim Hub or Sim Commander 4 software? Thanks for your time.

See my earlier comment about port conflicts, SimHub can port forward by I suspect that is the issue and the sound notification a hardware disconnect:
