    Hi All
I had a look around and this link http://www.xsimulator.net/author/guest/and it covers SimTools and direction of forces etc but there's no mention of heave, so my question is does it matter which direction you set it ? I've tried both with and without both dir boxes checked I couldn't feel much differance but if set wrong I didn't want other forces spoiling what seems to be one of the better forces when rallying.

Sorry if it's been covered before but I did a search on heave and wow there was a fair few lol

The direction of heave is not defined and normed. Depending on the game, you must check or uncheck the invert box according to your best experience.

Following on from @value1's comment it does matter what direction when it is implemented as a heave axis rather than simulated heave, as there are multiple axis working in unison and they must go in the same direction at the same time. There is also some cancelling effect between axis forces such as heave and pitch.
