Will it work with what? The first one I like better because it has a nice Amp meter. Just keep in mind if you draw more current than the maximum, the supplies will shut off from protection.

ok, Im not sure what all you need to know so maybe if you ask everything I can tell you all at once.

Im using 2 wiper motors, wiht 2 pololu jrk. They are 12v motors. Does that mean i need 2 power supplies or not?

basicly power supply mention in post one will deliver 248-276Watts.
Average wiper is about 180W each so to drive both motor at full speed ya gunna need 360Watts.
but in with my frex style system two motors (25amp max)at rear reading an amp guage at full swing with a 120kg bloke in the seat it peaks to about 16amps in total and only in a slit second never for long periods of time height reading recorded with two guys standing in seat was 19amp peak when lifting from its extreme low to high(expected) so i use a 20amp filtered power supply which has a peak of 30amps, i think ya asked me in a email ages ago. might have been aldoz sorry, he still using unreliable car battries. have plans to doulble the power suppy one for each jrk plus another thing is to have the power leads running from the power supply to the jrks big enough diam to handle 20amps or the jrk will build up excess heat trying to draw enough amps to do its job, aswell the distance between the power supply and jrk needs to be minimized to the shortest lenght possible, so to lower any chance on voltage drop. Pololu do warn of this in their documentation plus if running for an extended time a small heatsink and fan is needed or jrk overheats and slows.

thanks guys gonna go with this:

PYRAMID PS26KX 22-25 AMP AC/DC REGULATED POWER SUPPLY

good amps, amp and volt meter and it goes to 500 watts. This should cover both.

Shanonb1, Let us know if this is model works well for you. Im in the gathering information phase of my 2dof wiper motor build and had thought along the same lines in getting a power supply like this for power.

    Thanks and good luck!

sure, in the meantime Im using a pc power supply, 550 Watt, 18amp. 3 12v rails. I put a tutorial on the site under hardware a few days back. Going to try this for now then maybe switch to Pyramind 26.
