    Hi,
I am in Australia and have been watching this forum for many months.
I have searched the forums for this problem and read all the applicable guides and manuals.
My first built is a very cheap 2DOF motion chair with 2 wheel chair motors and the Arduino nano and what I think is a H-Bridge motor driver.
All works well in setting up SMC3, motors follow the motion when in manual mode. however this is obviously only one motor at a time.
When I setup SIM tools as per the manual with pitch and roll, roll works as expected one motor up the other down. However Pitch does exactly the same as roll even when I change DIR of one motor.
Not sure what to do next.
    Appreciate help.
I can send pictures of simtools setup or anything else that may help.

    Regards Ed

Please do post pictures of all of your settings, it sounds like your DIR configuration for pitch is an issue.

    Thanks Noorbeast,
I have taken pictures of my simtools configuration. I have not done any max min tuning as yet. The two pictures for axis configuration is me trying to get both motors going up down together.

If roll works as expected in Testing then one of the motors needs the wires flipped around, as you would normally have one DIR setting checked, or you can just deal with it with the DIR setting in SimTools.

But if that is the case then I would expect these Pitch settings to work, but you seem to suggest that is not the case, is that correct:

That is correct, wires were flipped on one motor during setup.
But pitch does not change if I flip DIR or not as in picture Axis 1&2?
I was wondering if it is a grounding problem but I checked the motors and they are not grounded?
    got me a bit confused.
Also I have tried to save to the global as well as default if that was a possible problem.
One further question with the H-bridge type I am using mode 1 and only 1 wire for direction on each motor as in the diagrams on this site. Is that a possibility?

    What H-bridge are you using?

A possible complication is that SMC3 is designed for the Uno, not the Nano.

    Noorbeast,
Apologies it is a UNO not Nano.
Attached is a photo of my H-bridge which is generic and has no product markings on it.
for the DIR connections I have
    motor 1 ENA pin2 to DIR1 on H-bridge
    motor 1 PWM pin9 to PWM1 on H-Bridge
    motor 2 ENA pin 4 to DIR2 on H-bridge
    motor 2 PWM pin10 to PWM2 on H-Bridge

I am back checking all my wiring connections because I made a few changes as I went along. I let you know the results. Thanks for the suggestions.
