    Hi Guys came acroos this product from POLOu and thought they might be suitable for instrument makers looking for small stepper motors
    http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1204/specs they also do drivers so maybe somehow X-sim Software could work with this . maybe worth a look 8)

    A gauge with that kind of stepper would have a ~150 step resolution at 270° needle movement. Sounds not very economic for the cost of a stepper + amplifier + controller.
