I've certain I don't have enough movement in my positioning pots.

The video shows 62% at extreme left and 78% at extreme right:

Then, when the calibration is complete, the test axis result value changes to 100%.

Will this prevent the Math Setup for being able to calculate a center position, and therefore render the Center option on the Calibrate Setup from working?

    Thanks, Kevin

    Hi Kevin

You need to either change your pots to one with a smaller sweep, or better still, use some kind of gearing to maximise the useage of the pot.

Currently, your build is only using 16% of the capacity of the pot.

The maths setup will compensate for this when you callibrate, and apply 0% position to your 62% and 100% position to your 78% (and it will show mid position when the pot returns what would have been your 70%)... but your position feedback will be awful! not even close to the level of control needed for a sim running at any kind of speed.

You should always aim to get maximum movement out of your pot or slider - try a 45 degree pot, or gearing ;)

I'll get some gears and re-work it.

    Thanks for the guidance.
