    Hello, I'm new here and I have a question. Can I somehow get the same effect of plugins as on sim tools for less? For the simtools v2 license, I need to buy a plugin license for $30 and a second license for the program for $80 if I understand correctly, and this is more than the entire 2dof project, I play once in a while and don't want to spend that much, I got used to simtools v2 and don't want to switch to version v3. Do you know any alternatives or is it possible to somehow upload the plugins that I buy for $30 without buying a more expensive license?

    I just want to test 2dof mainly in richard burns rally but I don't want to spend that much on a toy that I made almost for free in my free time, but I guess I'll have to convince myself eventually because I know it'll be hard to find an alternative

    You can test with Live For Speed in either SimTools v2 or v3, as the included plugin is fully functional specifically for testing purposes.

    yes, it works somehow on live for speed but I also don't have a license and all the fun ends, but the main goal of this post was to ask if I buy a set of plugins for $30, will I be able to use them in simtools v2 without a simtools v3 license?

    You need a SimTool license to use plugins other than LFS, and that license can be used with v2 and v3, which both can be installed on the same computer at the same time, using the same licences. The plugins are a separate additional cost for v2.
