    Hello all,

This is my simulator 2 dof.
It is made of wood and aluminum and steering wheel holder is made of pvc.
The electronics are made of an Arduino and a 24V pololu card.
    The motors are 24V smolka
Thank Racing Mat because it is thanks to its tutorial.
currently running with the simulator software XSIM but I show you mine this forum in order to earn Coins.

That after the brief space for photos:

    Thank you for your message.

Sorry for my English I use google translator.

to showcase my simulator on the forum is to switch to simtools.
I did not know existed other than code for the Arduino I intend to look at that.

Later I would like to add two other engine for the heave effect.

Nice job on the PVC frame there. Good to see another PVC sim going to motion. I like the work you have done with the shifter box and dash, very neat.
As for ard codes, I will let @eaorobbie cover that.

I just parameterize the simtools on my computer. it took me a mere 10 minutes. really easy to use, I can not wait to test it in games

pvc structures is good but the friction of pvc against wood makes a lot of noise.
So as a solution I have half a carpet between wood and pvc, now I no longer any friction noise.
I also rivet any junction structure.
I add a joystick to play Elite dangerous.
I also change my pedal that's much better than my old one.
    Here are some photos.

I take this opportunity to show you an overview of my installation.
the small cabinet to rate simulator is homemade.
it allows me to put my keyboard, the rift, my headset and mouse.
Below I have half my pc.
then the electronic box that allows you to run the simulator.
It is a junction box electrician, 2 ventillateur 12 cm to cool.
was found inside the 24V supply and the card arduino and pololu.

    Hi everybody :cheers

This week I changed my simulator because it was made of wood and began to grow old and make noise.
A force to tighten the screws wood crashed.
So I retrieve an old bed base and I are cut into pieces and weld.
I am satisfied, no welds because they are not beautiful o_O but it's solid.
The rigidity of the structure and the sensations it gives on the simulator are exellent.
no parasite movements to the flexibility of PVC.
    none of grinding noise either.

This morning I'll make me a hand brake to play dirt rally. :grin

nice work michto, on the wheel carrier saw diameter tube, a reinforcing bar on it would have been a plus for rigiditer?

beau travail michto , sur le support volant vu le diametre tube , une barre de renfort sur celle ci aurait été un plus pour la rigiditer ?

Thank you :thumbs, I am eager to go to finish.
For the reinforcement of the steering wheel bracket I wanted to test without a bar because I wanted the lightest possible strucutre.
For rigidity I find it sufficient but if I see that it moves I would make a reinforcement.
