In a bit of an unusual move the ProjectCars Game Director has outlined pending changes and improvements to Rift support for the next patch, due in November: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/3rmjrx/project_cars_november_patch_oculus_rift_updates/

I have to say it is impressive to see a proactive approach to VR announcements for a change, as many VR companies, including Oculus and Valve, pretty much operate in a constant tease mode these days!

I'm getting crazy with incompatibilities between nvidia drivers/oculus runtimes/Simtools updated games
I made my sim almost 80% with the idea to play Elite dangerous with the Rift and the sim, but I need to have 350.12 drivers, 0.5/0.6 runtime but the Simtools compatibility is broken.
Now if I want to play Rally...well, I need to switch runtime, nvidia drivers
THEN If I want to play Assetto, I cannot play Project cars
I know what "Developers kit" means... but anyway, I needed to wine some :p
BTW runtime switcher doesn't work for me.

I can totally really appreciate what you mean @mariano68!

It is funny but the range of things I am prepared to fight with has narrowed as consumer VR approaches. I put ED aside a while ago and told myself I would wait until the devs upgrade it for CV1 and the game stabilises enough that dev changes don't break the motion plugin every other week. I will stick with AC until things settle, so am not bothering with alternatives like PCars until then.

There are plenty of tips to go along with Runtime Switcher, like launching it as admin, so double check how you are configuring it as it would relieve some of your frustrations: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/3pxw5n/oculus_runtime_switcher_v301/

Well, at least now I got Assetto and dirt rally working with 0.60 (not the 0.0601)
Is there any other flight sim that works with simtools and dk2?
I will re read the whole reddit thread again to double check.

FSX/P3D with FlyInside for Rift support and DCS are good, the War Thunder motion plugin was constantly being broken by game updates and I have not tried it in ages but the devs finally resolved a lot of the Rift issues such as scale, so when it is working it is a blast fest of fun.

I can't get to work DCS A-10, but I got the vr changer working, and now Project cars works and I really like the game, feels easier for noobs like me.

Can I clarify if you have a problem with motion for DCS or the actual complexity of the Warthog systems procedures?

I can't get it to work with simtools, that was the first step, I didn't try to make it work with oculus.
I'r read the DCS thread, and looks like the problem is with the decimals, but changed that also and no go.
Don't worry:), I like to try them before buying them as long as the rift won't get final.

The decimal is one issue the other is that DCS has a patch path that is a bit different to most games and is C:\User\Your User Name\ Saved Games\DCS

Yes I know, but I didn't have any luck, thanks anyway!
I hope we can get the Elite dangerous plugin soon or it will be money wasted money.
