    It is not unusual to have multiple programs as part of your sim experience, say perhaps a race sim and another program that is doing telemetry, or a flight sim where you want to use an online manual. Now you can do just that in VR using SteamVR and the Open VR Desktop Display Portal: https://github.com/Hotrian/OpenVRDesktopDisplayPortal
